DNA tested for genetically inheritable diseases known to the Wagyu breed
Quiet in the yards and paddock

You can request a specific sire, or we will assign the sire we think best suites your production needs. Details of sires are available at the link below.
HOW IT WORKS
With Hire a Sire we charge a minimum fee of $400 equivalent to 5 cows; with $80/cow for each cow thereafter. This is a one-off upfront payment for the 60 day joining.
Have multiple paddocks, or more than 40 cows? No problem - we can send as many sires as you need to cover your cows for no additional fee. That's just one of the perks of paying per cow NOT per bull.
Sires are hired for a standard 60 day joining commencing from date of pickup. Longer joining periods can be requested at time of booking.
Nearing the end and can't bring him home yet? That's ok, just make sure to let us know so we can double check your sire is available for a longer duration.
You are responsible for the Sire's health and wellbeing while in your care. Sires must be returned in a minimum body score 3 and must be fit to load. For more information on these requirements follow the links below:
FEES
Minimum fee:Â $400 (inclusive of five cows)
Additional cows:Â $80/cow
Extension of time:Â $14/day per sire until returned
Longer joining periods will be quoted on request at time of booking.
PROGENY
When the time comes, Kia Ora Stud are happy to purchase the progeny of our sires at market value. Make sure you keep in touch and let us know how our worked for you!
DELIVERY
You are responsible for all delivery arrangements and associated costs. All sires are located at 3580 Kings Highway, Bungendore NSW.
